Elections Information
Per MYSA Bylaw 313; “The president, secretary and member-at-large of MYSA are elected for terms of 2 years at annual general meetings of MYSA held in odd-numbered years. The vice-president and treasurer of MYSA area elected for terms of 2 years at annual general meetings of MYSA held in even-numbered years.”

The following MYSA Executive Board positions are up for election this year:
- Vice President
Candidate(s): Dr. V. Samaranayake (Alt. South Dist. Commissioner) BIO
- Treasurer
Candidate(s): Warren Brown (Incumbent)
In accordance with our bylaws, nominations for these positions must be made at least 30 days in advance of the AGM. To nominate yourself or someone else for a position please email mitch@moyouthsoccer.org of your intention. Mitch, in turn, will reply that he has received the nomination, he will post the nomination on our website along with the letter outlining the person’s credentials if desired. Nominations must be received by Mitch no later than 3:00 pm on Friday, January 6, 2023, via postmarked mail, emailed or dropped off at the MYSA office.
Bylaw Amendments
Missouri Youth Soccer Association, Inc (MYSA) Bylaw 308 requires that any proposed amendment to the charter or bylaws of MYSA be submitted in writing to the executive director at least 60 days of the Annual General Meeting at which the amendment is to be considered. The deadline for submitting amendments is December 5, 2023. These are to be considered at the February 4, 2024 Annual General Meeting. Submissions may be made by mail, or email.
